When the sequel to the hugely popular Dragon Age: Origins was announced, many fans were a little disappointed to hear that the playable protagonist would only be available as a human character. Nothing has changed on this front but gamers will still have the option of playing either a male or female version of the lead character, something similar to what is seen in BioWare’s Mass Effect franchise.

However, Electronic Arts, an independent developer and publisher of video games, revealed last weekend at the PAX Prime 2010, what this female character will look like. Think hot chick in heavy metal. Dragon Age 2 isn’t due out until February 2011 which gives you plenty of time to decide which gender of Hawke you’re going to play.
