Telling your boss to take a hike through email after a night of heavy drinking can be a little tough to take back . If you end up doing something like this in a moment of anger, you may be on your knees groveling to get your job back (heads out of the gutter) and heck who wants to do that.
Google has come out with a beta product known as Google Goggles which it hopes will stop you from sending stupid emails in the wee hours of the morning. After all, friends don’t let friends send stupid email right.
The principle behind Google Goggles is that you configure a time period during which it is activated. This would probably be late Friday and Saturday nights as those are the nights of heavy drinking. Let’s say you log into Google to send that nasty email during the time when Goggles has been activated.
During that time, you will not be able to send any messages until you correctly answer 5 math questions. The assumption is if you are sober enough to answer these questions, then you are in the right frame of mind to be sending “stupid” email. If you find that the questions are to easy, you can even up the difficulty of the questions, but there are no algebra or calculus questions available for the math geniuses out there.
