Expected to launch next week in the US, the new service takes advantage of Dell’s “Wireless 700 location solution” which consists of an internal GPS card with Wi-Fi locationing and Dell’s CoPilot navigation software.

With this new feature, users will gain access to a wealth of information including turn by turn directions, 2D maps, 3D maps, trip optimization routes as well as detour information in the event of route delays.

Dell will also be partnering with Skyhook Wireless and Loki to provide additional local information such as a restaurant and business location service.
