Sprint confirmed today that they will be offering the Dell Mini 10 netbook at the reduced price of $199.99. The low price is contingent upon Sprint customers signing a 2 year data service plan and after receiving a $100 mail in rebate.
The Dell Mini 10 netbook features a 1.33 Ghz Intel Atom processor, 1GB RAM, 160GB HD and the Microsoft Windows XP operating system. Along with these basic features, Sprint will also throw in a 3G EV-DO Rev A modem that will support average download speeds between 600Kbps-1.4Mbps and upload speeds between 350Kbps-500Kbps. The monthly data plan that includes 5GB of data transfer will cost $60 per month.
