The Dell Latitude E6400 is Dell’s next generation rugged laptop.
This toughbook has been engineered to work in the most extreme conditions and has been designed to meet the needs of even the most demanding customers including military personnel, first responders and field service technicians.
The E6400 meets 13 military specifications (MIL STD 810F), including sea fog, thermal shock, drop tests, extreme temperatures and explosive environments. The Dell laptop also comes standard with Ballistic Armor Protection System which is designed from a Dell exclusive material called PR481.
PR481 is known to have twice the strength of magnesium alloy and offers the laptop added protection, allowing for successful drop tests from even greater heights.
