
Dell has formerly introduced their Inspiron M501R notebook, a new laptop that is powered by the latest AMD Quad Core processor chip, the Phenom II X4 mobile processor (codename Champlain).
The Inspiron M501R comes with either a 1GB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4250 or an ATI Mobility Radeon HD 550v video card. The unit includes a 15.6-inch display screen that is HD ready (720p high definition) and features a 1.3MP webcam, a DVD burner, 802.11n WiFi, wired Ethernet LAN connectivity, an eSATA/USB/VGA/HDMI ports and a full sized keyboard with a number pad.
The Dell laptop weighs about 5.83 pounds and has a 6-cell battery that provides mobile users with about 3-4 hours of continuous use. Optional features on the M501R include a 7-in-1 media card reader and Bluetooth technology.
The Dell Inspiron M501R Laptop will retail this summer.
