Decode Clock by Arthur Yung and Clement Cheung

By Mike James - posted in Household Gadgets

The decode clock by Arthur Yung and Clement Cheung is an interesting take on a wall clock. With this clock, the time is coded. It is only when the minute hand passes over the “hour” that the time is then decoded.

For their design, both Arthur Yung and Clement Cheung won the Good Design Award in 2004 by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design. Imagine, if you had this clock on your wall, at least you’d have a built in excuse for the boss when you are late…”gee sir, I couldn’t read the time.”
