Sleeping under bridges, on the side of the road or in a pipe are usually signs of bad times and brings up mental images of poverty and homelessness. What if I told you that you there was a place that allows it’s clients to sleep in concrete pipes?
The Dasparkhotel in Austria does exactly that. It’s an interesting concept, with no fixed cost to stay in the pipe. Rather, they appear to work on the “pay as you wish” principal, which means that you pay what you feel this service is worth.
Their homepage is in German, but it appears that their philosophy is minimal capacity, maximum comfort. Each unit comes with a double bed, a storage area for your gear and electrical connections to recharge your digital devices.
