CubeCheater is an iPhone app that helps you solve the Rubik’s Cube in the fewest moves possible. The first step is to get the cube status into the phone.
This can be done either by taking a digital picture of one face of the Rubik’s Cube or by entering the colors by means of the color palette included with this iPhone app. Using the Kociemba algorithm, this puzzle solving application will work out an easy Rubik’s Cube solution using the least moves possible. In many cases, a scrambled cube can be solved in under 20 moves.
This is far more efficient then a typical human algorithm based solution which can require hundreds of moves.
There have been a few software enhancements to this application recently with the current version now supporting the Japanese Blue-opposite-White cubes. CubeCheater also supports non-standard cube configurations by simply entering the required information into the phone.
