Cube Clock Takes The Frustration Out Of Rubik’s

By Mike James - posted in Household Gadgets

The Rubik’s cube was a source of frustration for many who tried to no avail to get the walls of the cube to a solid color. I remember some actually ended up taking the puzzle apart and then putting it back together in the correct order.

The Cube Clock draws it’s inspiration from the Rubik’s Cube, but without the hair pulling frustration. The top layer of the Cube Clock rotates and with each rotation, different information is displayed on the clock. A single turn shows the time, while subsequent turns show the temperature, alarm and date.

I like the clock, but if I had it sitting on the nightstand in the room, I’d be trying to get the walls to solid colors. It’s to bad they didn’t have a fully completed cube with the top layer still able to rotate.
