If you’re not familiar with Colorware, they are the company that will take your gadget and add a splash of color to it, thereby making it a custom mod to match your preferred color scheme. Recently, Colorware offered this service for the PS3 Slim and now they’re extending the service to the Blackberry Bold 9700 smartphone.
Similar to the PS3 Slim offer, you have two choices. The first is that you send them your BB as well as $159, wait 2-3 weeks and viola, you’ll have your unique phone styled the way you like it. The second choice is to buy the phone directly through ColorWare for $849 which will include the custom paint job.
So if you’re not happy with the only color available for the BB 9700, black, you might be interested in ColorWare’s service. Their promise is to “help you completely personalize your BlackBerry in a way that reflects your sense of style.”
