IOGear announced on Monday, the introduction of their USB Net ShareStation GIP201. This device allows you to share any USB peripheral to all workstations across your home network. Examples of devices that can be shared include USB webcams, USB MFP (Multifunction printers), external hard drives, and flash memory.
The USB Net ShareStation also supports wireless connectivity. The beauty of this is if you have a wireless router, you can network your multimedia peripherals wirelessly across the network. This certainly extends the functionality of this product. For instance, if you have a wireless router and a webcam, you can now have a wireless in house security system.
