Remote Control Dead Fred Zombie

Written by mike

How cool and scary is this. The remote control dead Fred Zombie looks pretty wild and will scare the crap out of quite a few people, especially if you have this thing moving around at dusk or early evening when visibility is a bit low. Should be perfect for Halloween which is coming up in a couple of months. The appearance of the Dead Fred Zombie will certainly scare people away, but there’s something even more scary then it’s appearance that will scare the vast majority of people away.

Iron Man movie fine art statue designed by Kotobukiya

Could we expect any less? Just in time for the release of the Iron Man movie, Kotobukiya brings us a finely crafted art statue of Iron Man.

Inspired by the movie, this figurine stands 13 inches in height. The attention to detail is remarkable, and great effort was taken to ensure that the Iron Man action figure mirrors the action hero in the movie. For instance, Stan Winston Studios created the armor for Iron Man in the movie based on designs generated by the comic artist Adi Granov. With this figurine, the armor has been replicated by Kotobukiya.

The figurine has been created with cold cast porcelain and possesses LED lights for eyes, repulsor ray palms and the unibeam on his chest

Although a nice addition to any collection, expect Iron Man to set you back $179.99.

Urinal Video Games

Written by mike

Bathroom urinal video game

Picture this…stepping up to a white porcelain urinal and getting involved in an action packed hand held game (no pun intended). Two Belgians, Werner Dupont and and Bart Geraets developed the idea while drinking beer. Could it have been any other way?

The name of their product is “the place to pee”. The game is designed for head to head action between two competitors. Players shoot sensor targets that are placed strategically inside the bowl of the urinal. Players have the choice of two different games including virtual downhill skiing and shooting aliens in outer space.

Women should not feel left out as the designers have advised that they have developed specially designed paper cones for them.

I guess the key to this game would be drinking enough beer or any other favorite beverage to ensure you have a steady stream of “bullets”.

Ringshot - The slingshot that meets technology

Ringshot - The slingshot that meets technology

Here’s a slingshot that Denise the menace would be proud of. The design project is from the latest “Next Exit” exhibition that featured the industrial department at H.I.T.

The Ringshot, a modified slingshot, comfortably fits between your index finger and thumb. There is no handle to grasp onto like those found on the traditional slingshot. Once in place, pull the elastic back, place your favorite projectile and release.

I wonder if the Ringshot would offer greater accuracy or distance over the traditional slingshot?
