Some two years ago, Magniflex, an Italian company, felt the world would be well served with a better mattress for the bed. The concept was valid, after all, we all spend an average of 7 hours sleeping. In an effort to bring out the best mattress possible, they developed the Gold Mattress. Just as the name implies, this mattress was made of 22 karat gold thread and carried a price tag of $24,000 for a queen size mattress and $30,000 for a king size mattress. At these prices, the mattress didn’t sell very well, in fact, in a two year period, less then 100 mattresses were sold.

We take great pride in the care of our animal friends. We take our dogs out for walks. We let our cats explore the neighborhood and come home when they choose. It’s our poor bird lovers who have suffered all these years, unable to take their birds out for walk, well not unless you really want to walk around your neighborhood carrying birdcage.

When an earthquake or for that matter a natural disaster of any sort strikes, people have to be able to provide for themselves for at least 72 hours. This means storing up canned food, water, medical supplies, batteries, flashlight and anything else that you may need during those initial 72 hours.
