Lots of young kids sword fight with pencils and when spotted in school, teachers will quickly get them to stop. They basically say something like someone’s going to get hurt but never really elaborate on it.
Here’s why.

A pencil in the eye is not a feel good moment and this Living Dead Doll Sadie pencil sharpener is creepy, weird and perfect for Halloween, although I probably wouldn’t let any young kids see this. Insert the pencil in the eye socket (sounds painful) to sharpen the pencil. A button on the back of the head will cause the doll to “throw up” the shavings.

At a formal black tie event, you need to balance fun with a certain level of etiquette. When the waiter comes around with hors d’oeuvres, and you’re holding a glass of wine in one hand, it’s just not socially acceptable that you fill your entire plate. Even if you threw caution to the wind, it would be quite a balancing act to hold a plate of food in one hand, wine in the other and at the same time, try and meet and greet the other guests. If you’ve had a love for gadgets and gizmos, you’ve probably had an opportunity to dismantle a few of them just to see what was inside. I know I’ve dismantled my fair share over the years. When I look at the silver gear wheel design machine time clock, it brings back fond memories of the inner workings of some of the older gadgets that I’ve gotten my hands on.

Rubik’s Cube gets a makeover by puzzle designer Hidetoshi Takeji. The cube moves away from colored blocks and achieves a greater level of complexity by adopting mirrored blocks of varying shapes and sizes. Like the original, the concept of the cube remains unchanged and that is to recreate the cube.
