Canon announced this morning the EOS 5D Mark II DSLR, a digital camera that offers photographers 1920 x 1080 resolution HD video footage capture capability. Along with this prominent feature, other features of this camera include 21.1 megapixel picture resolution, Silent Live View Shooting, Auto Lighting Optimizer and Peripheral Illumination Correction.

The EOS 5D Mark II is definitely a high end camera and will be available for $2,699.
