From a technical standpoint, the early reviews for Windows 7 have been generally positive. However, from a monetary point of view, good value for your money will depend upon geography.
In the UK, Windows 7 Home Premium will sell for £65 ($108). In the US, the same product will sell for nearly twice the amount or $200 US. Stateside, the Windows Home Premium upgrade will retail for about $120.
The obvious question to ask is why such a discrepancy in pricing? You may wonder if this is a temporary promo, but according to Amazon officials, this special pricing is “indefinite”.
