Nokia has pushed out quite a number of handsets that have taken advantage of their partnership with Microsoft. The latest phone that the Finnish phone maker has launched is the Lumia 920 and this is by all accounts, their new flagship Windows handset.
Those that are interested in this device might be keen to hear that the Windows phone is now available via pre-order at Best Buy. The device is on sale for $149.99 and requires that customers register for a 2 year service contract with the US mobile carrier, AT&T. At this time, there is still no confirmed launch date for the Nokia phone and when Best Buy employees were pressed, it was confirmed that only pre-orders are being taken at this time.
In keeping with the topic of Windows phones, Best Buy has also started taking pre-orders on another device. This one is from a Nokia competitor, namely HTC and the handset is the HTC Windows Phone 8x. The HTC phone is a little cheaper then the Nokia phone, coming in at $99.99 but again, you must sign up for a 2 year AT&T contract. As to be expected, both phones are powered by Windows Phone 8 which is Microsoft’s newest mobile operating system which is still forthcoming on October 29.
