The release of the Apple (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone 4 will help the bottom line of all mobile carriers that will offer the handset for sale within Canada, it would appear that Rogers (NYSE:RCI), Telus (TSE:T) and Bell will make the new iPhone available to their mobile customers.
Details are very sketchy right now, the three major Canadian carriers have not provided information regarding the timing or pricing for their individual offerings, with most just saying that it will be available in the coming weeks. July is most likely the earliest that Canadians will see the new iPhone and if you haven’t had a chance to hear the hardware specs on it, the iPhone 4 will have a 3.5-inch touchscreen display with 960 x 640 pixel resolution, a 5MP flash camera and a front facing VGA video camera. It will also have network connectivity through WiFi, GPS, 3G and Bluetooth.
