Bell Mobility has announced the launch of the Samsung Galaxy smartphone. Details of the launch are as follows: Bell clients will have two options in regards to this phone.
The first is to purchase the handheld outright at a price of $449.95. With this option, Bell customers will not be bound to any contracts whatsoever. The second option is to handover $99.95 and sign a 3 year service contract.
How does this phone deal compare to others that are available in the Canadian mobility market? Rogers Mobility is offering three Google Android phones, the LG Eve, HTC Magic and Dream. All three mobile phones are priced under $79.99. Telus also has an Android phone, the HTC Hero for $99.99. I guess Bell recognizes this and is looking to sweeten the deal just a bit more, so if you order now, they’ll even throw in a free decal for the Vancouver 2010 Olympic games.
