Convergent technology enters the realm of bathroom fixtures by means of the IHouse SmartFaucet that includes facial recognition technology.
The facial recognition software is able to identify the person in the bath and then set the water temperature and flow volume to the user preferred settings.
The faucet also includes a touchscreen so that you can read email, check calendar appointments, outdoor weather conditions, all from the comforts of your drawn bath. The SmartFaucet can retain the preferred water settings for multiple users and can thus be used by the entire family. Further, the faucet includes LED lights (red and blue) which illuminate to show the temperature variations of the water, with red indicating hot and blue indicating cold.
