Over the holiday season, there was some backlash towards Barnes and Noble as their popular Nook ebook reader was out of stock, leaving some looking for other gifts to purchase for their loved ones. The company has announced today that production levels have been increased and as a result, we should start seeing the Nook in stores later this week, just in time for Valentines Day, the next gift exchanging occasion. To ensure that you get your ereader before Valentines Day, you can check out the in-store locator to find local supplies or you can buy online with B&N providing a 1-2 day air service free of charge.
Additionally, if you happen to make your way down to a Barnes and Noble location this month, you will have access to a couple of promotional offers including:
- An Adriana Trigiani short story including characters from Brava, Valentine
- An Anne Byrn Valentine’s Day recipe for red velvet cupcakes. Anne is also known as the Cake Mix Doctor.
- A Kevin Zraly feature called “Read Between the Wines” which offers suggestions on pairing books with wines.
