Backtrack GPS Finder - Digital Compass

Rather, this Backtrack GPS Finder can be programmed with up to three locations, such as the location of your parked car, the family tent or that scenic lake you discovered.
Once programmed, you can use the GPS Finder to easily find your way back to your programmed destinations.
This is a simple outdoor gadget, not a lot of bells and whistles, but it gets the job done. Not only can it be used on your next wilderness hike, but can also be used in an urban environment such as the mall parking lot so that you never forget where the car is parked. Whats more is this self calibrating digital compass has a water resistant coating so you don’t have to worry about rain damage.

There’s no mention of battery life though. If you’re on an expedition or get REALLY lost, that’s not something you want to worry about!

You are correct that there is no mention of battery life but it does run on 2 AAA batteries.
On a new set of batteries, you should be able to get some pretty good use out of the GPS Finder and AAA batteries are small enough that you could probably carry a couple of spares in your pocket.
