Chris Ebejer, a pub landlord in Britain spent six years and a lot of money to invent a baby garment that changes color with the rise in a baby’s temperature. Overheating is a risk factor for sudden infant death syndrome as well as a symptom of meningitis.
Overheating can cause a baby’s brain to shutdown. A lot of mothers will appreciate Babyglow for their precious little one. The smart fabric includes an ink pigment with heat-sensitive molecules. The garment comes in blue, pink and pastel green. The color pigment changes to white when the temperature increases above 37 degrees Celsius.
Babyglow will be available in October and will retail for $32.70.
