Averatec has released a low cost aluminum notebook, model N3400. Priced at $799, the 13.3″ portable notebook weighs 3.8 pounds and features an Intel Pentium Dual Core T3400 processor, 3GB DDR2 RAM, 250GB SATA drive, external USB 8x dual layer DVD/CD optical drive, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth and wired Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
Also included are three USB ports, a multi-format card reader, 3.5mm audio in/out, VGA output and an integrated 1.3 megapixel WebCam with microphone.
The N3400 will be available through the Averatec online store as well as through Averatec retail partners.
