Apple iPhone 4G Believed To Launch In June

The Boy Genius Report has had some reliable sources backing their technology related predictions and today, BGR is reporting that the Apple iPhone 4G will launch in June rather then July of this year and more specifically, there is a greater chance that the launch will be earlier in the month rather then later.

This may be one of the reasons that some retailers have begun to announce deep discounts for the iPhone 3GS, some going as low as $97 under contract.

This year, Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will take place on June 7th and it’s widely believed that CEO Steve Jobs will officially unveil the iPhone 4G at that time. There are lots of rumors circulating around the blogosphere at this time including the 4G shipping by June 21st, but the reality is that these are all just rumors that this time. However, WWDC is just around the corner and everything should get clearer at that time.
