The Christmas season always brings about good deals, especially on consumer electronics and AT&T didn’t disappoint with their announcement of half off their Blackberry smartphones after a mail in rebate.
The half price deal begins today and is contingent upon signing a two year service agreement which starts at $69.99 per month and goes up from there. In terms of what models have been discounted, they include the Blackberry Bold 9700, the Blackberry Bold 9000 as well as four models of Blackberry Curve (Models 8900, 8520, 8320, 8310j).
Additionally, AT&T will be giving away the Samsung Solstice provided you sign up with a new data and messaging contract that starts at $20 per month and again, you will be responsible for sending in a mail in rebate form.

Mail-in rebates suck. They’re clunky, old-school (not in a good way) and they take forever to be completed where you actually see the money.
