ASUS has launched a series of multimedia speakers – The ASUS uBoom and uBoom Qsound bar speakers. The ASUS uBoom is the larger of the two models and has 24 watts of RMS power while the uBoom Q offers 2.4 watts.
Both speaker systems provide high quality sound with “heart thumping bass” while viewing movies, videos and playing games. These speakers can be connected to a notebook via USB 2.0 port, replacing the internal sound with a high quality enhanced audio sound.
The ASUS uBoom also doubles as a notebook dock. Since the ASUS uBoom Q draws its power from the USB 2.0 port it eliminates the need for external power adapters.
