Asus scored a winner when it first came out with the swivel-screen Eee PC T91 netbook. Now, it looks to score yet another winner with the T91’s successor — the Eee PC T91MT. As you might have guessed, the extra “MT” in the name stands for “multi-touch.” The Eee PC T91MT is Asus’s first multi-touch netbook, and looks to become a tantalizing gift for the holidays.
The Eee PC T91MT comes bundled with Windows 7. Its 8.9-inch display is LED-backlit, multi-touch, and offers a decent 1024×600 pixel resolution. Like the T91, it runs on a 1.33GHz Intel Atom Z520 processor, but this time supports up to 2GB DDR2 RAM.
The upgrades also include 32GB of internal storage and 500GB of cloud storage (via Asus WebStorage) space. Aside from these, everything else about the T91MT is virtually the same as its T91 predecessor.
What really makes the T91MT shine is its multi-touch features, letting users (even more than one at the same time) drag, flip, tap, and pinch on the display. The T91MT also measures only an inch thick, and weighs less than 1kg. To get your hands on this multi-touch beauty, head over to Amazon if you’re ready to shell out $532.
