Fusion Garage is not the only one having issues meeting targets these days as Asus is the latest tech company, announcing delays with their EeeKeyboard PC.
This time, Asus failed to miss the promised February launch date. ASUS chairman Jonney Shih was apologetic about the delays and indicated that if everything goes according to plan, consumers can expect to see a new April launch date for their keyboard computer.
Shih was quick to point out that the cause of the delays was not due to manufacturing problems but rather the desire of company to ensure that the final product maintains a high quality level and exceeds customer expectations upon release. You would have hoped this could have been accomplished prior to the February launch date but considering that the Atom powered PC with an integrated touchscreen is expected to cost somewhere in the neighborhood of $500-$600, it would probably make sense to ensure everything is resolved pre-release rather then post.
