The Eee pc 1002 is the latest Asus netbook that features a 10″ LED Backlight WSVGA screen (1024×600), Intel® Atom™ N280, 1GB DDR2 RAM, and a long life battery (up to 5 hours on a single charge).
The netbook comes with a 160GB HDD as well as 10GB Eee Storage. Eee Storage is Asus’ online data storage service that they provide complimentary for the first 18 months after you buy a laptop.
Other features of the 1002 include a 1.3M Pixel camera, a card reader (MMC/ SD(SDHC)/ MS/ MS-PRO), WiFi b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0+EDR.
Finally, a multitouch-capable trackpad is included as well as a Dr Eee application that allows for voice control of slide-shows and program launches.
