There’s been a lot of speculation as to when the Asus Eee keyboard pc would officially be available. Although Asus has not provided the exact release date, company officials have confirmed that consumers in the US and Europe will be able purchase the unit in early October.
The Eee keyboard pc is basically a netbook situated within a keyboard. It includes a 5-inch touchscreen display, a 1.6GHZ Intel Atom processor, 1GB DDR2 RAM and either a 16GB or 32GB SSD (solid state drive). The unit supports 802.11 b/g/n wireless connectivity, Bluetooth 2.0, wireless HDMI and includes the standard USB 2.0, VGA port, headphone and microphone connections.
The only thing remaining is confirmation of price although it is expected to fall in the range of somewhere between $400-$500.
