When the iPhone 4 was announced, it was confirmed to be available in two simple colors, black or white. Those that were interested in buying a white iPhone 4 were told that it should be available some time this month.
However, this wait just got a heck of a lot longer as a press statement by Apple this morning has confirmed that the white iPhone 4 launch has been delayed until “later this year”. The reason for the delay comes down to a manufacturing issue with the white version being more “challenging” to develop.
