Apple has tried to make peace with their customer base by offering free bumpers or a full refund to iPhone 4 users that are suffering from signal loss due to the “death grip”. However, Apple will not stop at this point and let the issue die, but continues to show that this problem is not isolated to just Apple.
Recently, Apple singled out Nokia, HTC and RIM as handset makers whose smartphones are prone to this problem. They have now gone a step further and added the Motorola Droid X to their growing list of problematic phones. According to an Apple video, you can see the signal bars drop when the smartphone is held in a specific way.
What would be the value in Apple doing this? They have already made their claim that the iPhone 4 is not alone with this problem so why beat a dead horse? It only draws more attention to the iPhone 4, which is the opposite of what Apple actually wants to do.

Looks like Apple is testing all other phone (who are apple’s competitors) instead of testing their own phone.
