We’re only a day away from Apple’s “Come See Our Latest Creation” media event being held in San Francisco, California and today, we’re getting some of the strongest indications of possible features to be included in the new Apple Tablet (iSlate/iTablet/iPad).
According to the New York Times, Apple’s new tablet computer will include WiFi and 3G network connectivity, a 10-inch screen display and full compatibility with iPhone applications. The exact quote is as follows:
It will run all the applications of the iPhone and iPod Touch, have a persistent wireless connection over 3G cellphone networks and Wi-Fi, and will be built with a 10-inch color display, allowing newspapers, magazines and book publishers to deliver their products with an eye to the design that had grabbed readers in print.
There we go, this will probably be the closest we will come to a confirmation until the live event begins at the Yerba Buena Center center at 10 AM Pacific tomorrow. With the information received from the NYT, there is a whole new sleuth of questions that arise such as who will be the carrier, AT&T, Verizon or possibly both. Would AT&T even want or be offered the opportunity of being the sole carrier considering the AT&T news that came out yesterday? We’re looking forward to tomorrows announcements.
