When Apple announced the iPhone 4, they confirmed that it would be available in either black or white. Today, we learn through an official Apple statement that the white model is harder then the black one to manufacture and as a result, the release of the white iPhone 4 has been delayed until after the middle of July.
Apparently, the black iPhone 4 is the more popular of the two versions and the availability of this color has not been affected in any way. The Cupertino based company did not address the reasons that made the white models more challenging to manufacture, but if you’re looking to pick this model up, it looks like you will have a small wait on your hands.
