The latest Apple rumor not involving Steve Jobs health is that Apple is working on a netbook with a touchscreen display. Touchscreen technology is a lucrative and expanding market and it’s believed that Apple will have a new netbook ready to enter this market in the second half of the year.
It’s believed that the Apple netbook will be designed by Quanta Computer Inc, the world’s largest netbook designer and will feature a screen size between 9.7 and 10-inches.
It’s not a far stretch to see Apple enter this market as they already have products that use touchscreen technology and this would be a feature that Apple fans would welcome. As more details become available, we’ll be sure to post them here.
