Apple iPod Price Drops In Advance of Press Event

Today is Apple’s big “rock n’ roll” event. In advance of the the media event, Apple has slashed the prices of it’s iPod portable media players.

The new pricing is as follows:

• 32GB iPod touch – From $399 to $279
• 16GB iPod touch – From $299 to $249
• 8GB iPod touch – From $229 to $189
• 16GB iPod nano – From $199 to $149
• 8GB iPod nano – From $149 to $129

There are obviously some good deals to be had as Apple tries to clear some old inventory to make space for their new toys.
