Users that currently have Tweetie 2.0 will receive a free upgrade while those interested in buying the application can do so for $2.99.
Tweetie 2.1 now integrates some of the new features that Twitter has recently announced. Tweetie, 2.1 fully supports Twitter Lists, Retweets, Report Spam as well geotagging of tweets. Rest assured, the last feature, geotagging, is an opt-in and optional feature in case you’re worried about big brother keeping tabs on your movement.
One of the more popular features that will garner considerable attraction is the gap detection feature whereby Tweetie will remember the last time a user updates his Twitter stream so that if the application is closed for a while and then reopened, there is no confusion as to where the new tweets start.
