Apple iPad Theme For Jailbroken iPhones

Lat week, the announcement of the Apple iPad in San Francisco was met with mixed reviews. There were some that couldn’t get by the name and its immediate reference to a feminine hygiene product, while others felt it was just a super-sized iPod Touch. There is still another group that believes that with some promotion, the iPad will revolutionize tablets and tablet technology in way similar to which Apple changed the music scene.

For the last group who can’t wait to get their hands on the Apple tablet, there is a hack available that will allow Apple users to simulate the features of the tablet on their iPhone or iPod Touch. The process is laid out clearly and consists of installing features and software applications that are present in the iPad OS 3.2 onto a jailbroken iPhone running OS 3.0. The end result is an iPhone that includes the iPad theme with the iBook Store, iWorks suite and more.

For this to work, you will need at your disposal, the following applications: Winterboard app, Simple iPad Theme, MakeItMine App, Shrink App, ProSwitcher, NYTimes, Classics and Kindle for iPhone.

Needless to say, this is not a supported or approved Apple configuration, but those that are interested, full details are outlined in the below YouTube video.
