Apple’s Chief Executive Officer, Steve Jobs imparts more of his wisdom upon us today. A beef that many iPad users have with the Apple tablet is it’s inability to print directly from the device.
One of Apple’s customers decided to email Jobs directly at sjobs@apple.com, asking the question “Why no printing on the iPad? What gives?”. The email was responded to with a very simple reply, “It will come” with the tagline “Sent from my iPhone”.
With this one line response, we’ve got confirmation that iPad printing is on the way, but there is no indication on how this will be accomplished. Will iPad printing only work on networked printers or will there be a method to print to older printers that don’t come with wireless support? Perhaps Apple will take a page from their archrival Google and deploy a cloud printing solution.
