At the Apple Event last week, Apple’s Chief Executive Officer Steve Jobs, spoke about iOS 4.1 that would be available soon. As Jobs touted the new features that would be included in the latest version of the Apple mobile operating system, it was no surprise that anticipation was building and users wanted to get their hands on the OS.
Yesterday, we heard about an accidental leak on the Apple website which revealed that iOS 4.1 would be available for download on Wednesday and it appears that this leak was correct as the wait is now over. Head on over to iTunes and you can begin to update your Apple products.
The iOS 4.1 update is compatible with the iPhone 3G, iPhone 3GS, iPhone 4 and the iPod Touch. If you are using a jailbroken device and you want to keep the features that this hack brings, you probably will not want to perform the iOS update because it will disable the jailbreak.
Let us know your thoughts on the new iOS, are you looking forward to the new features that it will bring?
