The Apple Insider is reporting that Apple is planning on introducing some new products that may be of interest to Apple fans. First is the addition of a new LED backlit Cinema display, the second for Apple. The new display will measure 27-inches, a full 3-inches larger then the earlier model. Apparently, the 27-inch version has been in the undergoing testing in the Apple labs for quite some time now and is being referred to by its codename K59. From what we hear, K59 is very similar to the currently available 24-inch unit but will offer a screen resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, which is close to the 2560 x 1600 resolution typically seen with 30-inch displays.

The second Apple offering will come by way of a 6-core Mac Pro that will sport the Intel Xeon 5600 processor. The new 6-core Mac Pro lineup will be available in a variety of processor speeds including 2.66, 2.8, 2.93, and 3.33GHz.
