Here’s an simple anti-theft device that takes a unique approach to preventing car theft.
Rather then relying on electronic keys, steering wheel locks and even car alarms, this deterrent consists of simple temporary car stickers that resemble rust and scratches. Affix these stickers to your new car to give it the appearance of being an old used car, not worth stealing.
The hope would be to give the car thief the impression that if the vehicle owner doesn’t value the car, then it really isn’t worth stealing. However, these days, car thieves will steal just about any easy target just so that they can take the parts and resell them as used car parts.
These stickers can be used on both cars and bikes. The designer uses these stickers on his bike and does recognize the simplicity of this deterrent and comments “I have stuck them to my shiney new red bike and can confirm it hasn’t been stolen yet. 13 days of not being stolen in London.”
