Earthquake gear for pets

When an earthquake or for that matter a natural disaster of any sort strikes, people have to be able to provide for themselves for at least 72 hours. This means storing up canned food, water, medical supplies, batteries, flashlight and anything else that you may need during those initial 72 hours.

It is often during a natural disaster that you see family pets that struggle. Unlike wild animals, that can fend for themselves, domesticated animals need a bit of help.

A creative Japanese soul has come out with a survival kit to help Fido live. Referred to as the anti-earthquake pet suit, these survival suits for animals include compartments which can be filled with water, biscuits as well as aromatherapy oils which will mask the morbid smells of decaying bodies. The survival suit comes with 4 booties to protect Fido’s precious feet.
