There’s a few addictive games out there and Angry Birds for the various iDevices is one of them. Soon, this game will be ported to the PSP and PS3 as a mini. For those that have never heard of this highly popular game, Angry Birds requires gamers to fire birds (and angry ones at that) through the air using a giant catapult.
If the shot has been well placed, it will break the physical buildings, allowing the angry birds to get at their nemesis, the green pigs who have stolen the birds eggs. According to Johnny Coghlan who is the publishing head of Chillingo, the game maker, the PS Mini version of Angry Birds will be as addictive and fun as the original Apple game. In fact, game developers have made an extra effort to ensure that the video graphics have been optimized for the PSP screens and that the controls will be intuitive and easy.
Coghlan is very confident that the new port will be a huge success and has gone on record as saying “This is going to be a hit release when it launches soon.” If you’re a fan of this game, there’s even a rumor going around that Angry Birds will be turned into an upcoming movie.
