There’s been a lot of talk about HTC mobile devices lately with the HTC Legend, the HTC Incredible and now comes word that perhaps there is another HTC handset in the works, the HTC Scorpion.

Details of this new Android device are very sketchy at this time. There is no video proof of its existence, nor are there any digital images or supporting HTC documentation that lends credence to this leak. The proof for this HTC handset comes by way of a build file. From what we gather, it will come with WiMax support, the unreleased yet Android 2.2 operating system and a blazing fast Qualcomm 1.5 Ghz Snapdragon processor.

The HTC Scorpion is just a rumor circulating in the blogosphere at this time, but if and that is a big if it did exist, it would set a new standard for Android based mobile phones. We’ll certainly keep an eye on this story and keep you posted with any new developments that we discover.
