Amazon Announces Kindle Fire Sold Out

More often then not, companies aren’t overly forthcoming about current inventory levels or new product releases. Usually, it becomes a cat and mouse game with analysts having to gauge when product numbers dwindle, taking this as a queue as to when a company would be launching a new model of the said product.

However, when it comes to the online retailer, Amazon Inc. such is not the case. In fact, there is no guessing involved with the company taking the extra step of confirming that they have sold out of their Android powered Kindle Fire tablet. That may feel like bad news, but Amazon’s Chief Executive Officer Jeff Bezos continues to say that an “exciting roadmap” is ahead, one that will provide users with good prices, strong customer service and a wide range of content.

In the entire announcement that was made, the key take away message was the mention of the roadmap. As we know, Amazon will be holding an event on September 6th and it is widely speculated that at this event, the company will announce their replacement to the original Kindle Fire. One of the objectives that we’ve heard regarding Amazon is to create a new tablet, one that could take on Apple’s iPad. In this regards, we only have one more week to wait until we get to see if the new device lives up to this objective.
