When word came that Activision would no longer be involved with the Call Of Duty shooter game franchise, many believed that this was the first nail in the coffin for the game developer. Soon after this announcement, cutbacks and staff layoffs began which seemed to confirm the earlier predictions.
Well, there is some good news now in that Activision and Bungie have signed a 10 year publishing agreement that will allow Activision to publish Bungie approved video games and best of all, the focus of these new games will be for “multiple platforms and devices”.
This does lead to some questions that need clarification such as what are the multiple platforms? Does this mean that Bungie will not be doing Xbox games exclusively?
