Acer has launched it’s dual boot Microsoft Windows 7/Google Android OS netbook known as the Aspire One D250. The mix of the two operating systems is great for those that haven’t had a chance to play with the Google OS.
The new Acer netbook features a 10.1-inch display with 1024×600 resolution, an Intel Atom N280 processor, 160GB hard drive, 1GB RAM, 6-cell Li-ion Battery and wireless 802.11b/g network support.
Unfortunately, the device does not have a touchscreen display which will present some challenges for the open source Google OS. Netbook users will find themselves using the trackpad and esc key frequently as there are no designated keys to support Android.
The new Acer netbook will retail for $349.99.
